2022年12月7日在美國評論 I've bought a few adapters from Best Buy and couldn't get them to reliably work. I tried different docking stations, different monitors and yes different adapters. These Adapters arrived from Amazon slightly slower than Best Buy where I could pick up, but worked correctly immediately. I needed access to it, but then had an idea. My PC has three different display ports. I figured a converter like these would exist, and they do. My PC is hooked up to my monitor through the HDMI that is accessible. I wanted to be able to stream things through my PC and display them on my TV as well as play games through my TV, too. I can turn on my monitor & TV and have them both on simultaneously, as seen in the uploaded video. Also, I can simply just have my TV on, though, it works just like a normal HDMI cable. However, if you do buy this product, make sure you select the correct settings for your monitor. At first, I didn't think it worked, but my setting were not correct. If you use this item, you can also use it to have two monitors operate as one, so there's more room to work with (like 2 monitors in one, when you have two monitors next to each other and you want to turn the two of them into one display), or you can do what I do, and simply duplicate what is on each monitor. If you want to make two monitors into one, you select "extend" (I believe). There are only 4 options, so it's easy to work out. To do this, you have to hold the windows key and then P (Win+P). Then, a menu will pop up (seen in the image I uploaded). From there, select the setting you wish to use. In my case, I selected "duplicate." This allowed the screen to be duplicated onto my TV and it works just like a normal HDMI cable now. This item is great as it is very flexible and gives you multiple different things you can do, not just one. You can see in the image I uploaded, there is the menu I am talking about. That is the menu you'll want to use when you get this product, to make sure you have everything set up correctly. The cable itself is braided and sturdy and each end is metal instead of plastic, so it's very robust and unlikely to break. I've had absolutely zero issues with latency, too. I tried a cheaper one, but it's worth spending a little bit more to get a good one like this one. Does exactly what you need it to do and it works well, too. In the video, you can see that both my monitor and PC are displaying the same thing. That is just to illustate how it works/how well it works. Both display the same exact thing with no latency. So, if you have any display ports, consider them HDMI ports as well, as this device can turn them into just that👍 I usually have at least one con with things I I buy, but not here. Others such as Mini-DP/Thunderbolt to HDMI get used on a daily basis when clients turn up unprepared to give their presentation. 5.0 顆星，最高 5 顆星 Sharpness issue resolved by a Windows setting 2021年1月4日在英國評論 Rather worryingly the sharpness of the DP to HDMI to a small TV was quite poor. I diagnosed the use to the laptop. Outputting 59Hz and not 60Hz. This was resolved through Windows advanced display settings. Once set correctly on the laptop the device worked perfectly outputting at 1066 x 768 I think. Which is what I expect for this small old TV. The picture was then Cristal sharp, for such an old TV. Tested on a modern HP laptop. I have not tried higher resolutions yet. Or other TV sets. Device is robust and compact. A 10 year old Dell laptop did not accept this adapter. While the output stated it was working according to Windows 10 the old TV did not display anything. I have not tried a different TV yet. But I am context that the problem is with the Dell. Most probably the DP output cannot accept and communicate with the adapter. Possible that the DP socket is not setup correctly as the hardware was Windows 7 compatible and not Windows 10. Also likely a version 1 hardware port. 5.0 顆星，最高 5 顆星 Great Build Quality 2022年11月16日在英國評論 This cable has a great build quality and is very sturdy between the cable and the interconnect. It feels like it will be able to take some abuse. These metal and nylon braid converters are definitely better to get over the usual plastic built PVC based cable adapters. I still feel they're a bit pricey @ >£7 per piece but for the material and build quality and potential reliability, it's worth it! Also I have noticed that there are electrical differences between these converters (they're not all the same) as they do require a small chipset inside to do the datastream conversion (don't know the technics on how this works!) but I can say that some adapters take a touch longer for the screen to sync and sometimes detecting the wrong resolution of which needs to be corrected. Over the years I have purchased these converters of many, many chinese brands and have noticed technical differences. These have been solid - instant connection, no resolution mis-interpretation - perfect on the first connection on both 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 screens. |
