如果有经常掌机模式玩的需求的话就可以买。
不过题主的问题描述有一些问题，switch并没有进入末期，2017年发售至今是第5年，而通常一款主机的寿命在10年左右，而且ns全系列当前销量也不弱，任天堂没有必要马上放出下一代主机的信息。
没有太大问题，但是划不来
分析下题主情况：已经手持国行 switch，想体验国际版内容。
Switch 远没有到达生命末期，之所以有这种说法是因为 Switch OLed 要出来了——然而 Switch OLed 并没有全方位的优于 Switch。
而 lite 相比 Switch 有诸多限制——最重要的就是无法使用电视模式与不随机附带 joycon 只能用机器集成的按键摇杆。
没有 joycon， 影响不大：可以使用现有的，其实多备几个也没关系，毕竟聚会游戏多要几个手柄也是正常的，OLed 也可以用。
考虑到 joycon 普遍都不耐用，考虑使用第三方手柄也是正常的，这里就不作推荐了，可以考虑移步到相关回答寻找参考。
但是不能使用电视模式就挺尴尬的——部分游戏在电视模式下才能享受到完整的体验（比如聚会类游戏在小屏幕上玩着就很憋屈，部分大作也没有对小屏幕进行优化，看着累眼），导致了部分只有数字版或者必须购入数字 dlc 的游戏被排除在选择之外。
然后问题就回到了游戏阵容上——有必须现在就体验的非卡带游戏吗？
因为 lite 也不便宜——尤其在已经手持了续航版的前提下（哪怕是国行续航版）。
其实你还有一个选择就是租机器来玩，这样就可以避免没有必要的开销（不过要先询问下是否允许绑自己的号）

Let's startwiththescratch test. I'veneverreallytriedgaming one-handedbefore, so

Thepositivesidetoplasticscreensthough isthattheywillnevershatter, and I think
that's whatNintendoisgoing forhere – longevity. Soputtinganuncrackable screenonNintendo
SwitchLiteis a goodidea.
Thereis a wayto getthebestofbothworldsthough, andthat's with a temperedglassscreen
protector. Ourvideosponsordbrandsells a 2-pack oftemperedglassprotectorsfor
less than $10, andthey'reanexactfit. It's a prettyinexpensivewaytogetthe scratch
resistanceofglass. Andif iteverdoescrackorshatter, it canbeeasilyreplacedbecause,
you know, glassisglass, andglass can.....that's goingtobehardto cleanup.....It's a worthwhile
methodof protectingyourplasticscreen, so I'llput a linkdowninthedescription
if youneedtogetsomeforyour Switch.
Theotherbigdesignchange besidesnodockingabilityisthatnow thesidecontrollersare
notdetachable. Thebuiltinleftsidejoystickiscovered with a verythickrubbermaterial.
Andit's verywellattachedandwon't bewearingofforfallingoffon it's own. It's a very
durablecoating. Thereis a new d-padthatreplacesthe circularindividualbuttons.
Thisguy ismadefrom a singlecolor, solidpiece ofplastic. Ontherightsidewe have
moreofthatsuperthick rubbercoveringonthejoystick. It's easytoseehowthickand
well attacheditiswith a littlehelpfrom myrazorblade. It'lltake a very longtime
forthisexteriorcovering towearoffonit's own.
Thecircularbuttonsuphereatthe tophavethelettersmoldedintothe buttonitself,
sotheseletterswill neverphysicallywearoffwhichispretty smart. TheNintendoSwitch
Litecomes in 3 colors: thisturquoiseblue, theyellow yousawearlier, and a graycolor.
Allofwhicharemadefrom a solid singlecoloredplastichousing. TheSDcardslot
has a littleflapcoveringthe port. Thisisheldinplacewith a thickrubberhinge.
We'llhave toseehowthisconnectsonthe insidewhenwetakethisapart, but fromthe
outside, itlookslike it's nevergoingtocomeoffon it's own.
Thereisnokickstand thistimearoundsincethejoy-cons arenotdetachable. Andpretty
much everyside, button, andsurfaceofthe NintendoSwitchLiteismadefromplastic.
Eventhepowerandvolumebuttons. Thereis a massiveventfortheinternal coolingfan
that'llbefun tocheckoutfromtheinsideas well. Anditalsohas a headphonejack.
Thegamecartridgeflapisheld onwiththesamethickrubberstraps. Thebackpanelof
theSwitch has 2 moregrills...alsoprobablyforthatinternalcoolingfan. Andbothhave
a paperthinplasticgrillattemptingtokeepoutdustanddebris. Thisconsoleis definitely
Ifyou'retryingto decidebetweentheSwitchandtheSwitch Lite, I thinkit's alldependent
on howandwhereyouliketoplay games. Personallywhen I'm outandabout, I hardly evergame.
Theonlytime I plink aroundonBreathoftheWildis when I'm sittingdowninfront
of a TV, withmydetachedjoy-cons. So it's worthitformetospend theextra $100 for
thefullsized NintendoSwitch. Butifyoumostlygame onthego, thistravelsize $200
SwitchLitemightbethebetteroption. Leave a commentdownbelowifyouknow whothis
Thescreenonthe Liteisstill 720p, sameastheregular Switch. Just a tadsmaller
at 5.5 inches insteadof 6.2. Andundertheheatfrom mylighterwecanseethelittle
ripplesstartformingonthemeltedplasticbeforethedisplayunderneathstartstoturn
offandgoblack. Thisshows thatNintendoisusingandLCDpanel. Theburnedpixelrecover
howeverand doeventuallycomebackon. Butthe meltedfrontplasticisstillmelted.
ThefirstportableNintendoGameboyconsole wasreleasedin 1989 andthatthingis a tank.
Today, 30 yearslater, it's timetotestthestructuralbuildquality ofNintendo's newest
portablesystem. I was worriedthattheplasticmightbefragile orthescreencouldpopoff,
butafter a substantialflexfromthefront, and a veryhardflexfromtheback, there
isnopermanentdamagedone totheSwitchLitehousing. TheSwitch doesflexinboth
directions, but it's notenoughtodamagetheinternal componentsorcrackthatLCD
screen. Everythingisstillinplaceandit's a solidlittledevice. TheSwitchLitegets
a thumbsupfromme. Itcan handlesomeaggressiveSmashBros, orcrazyMarioKartraces, and
probablyany physicalabusekids, orkidsatheart canthrowitsdirection. I'llput
